Among the different functions of a public corridor are the following:

I.- Act as a mediating agent, to transmit and exchange proposals between two or more parties and advise on the execution or adjustment of any contract or agreement of a commercial nature;

II.- Serve as a valuation expert, to estimate, quantify and value the goods, services, rights and obligations that are submitted to your consideration, by private appointment or by mandate of the competent authority;

III.- Legally advise merchants in the activities of the trade;

IV.- Act as arbitrator, at the request of the parties, in the settlement of disputes arising from acts, contracts or agreements of a commercial nature, as well as those that result between suppliers and consumers, in accordance with the law of the matter;

V.- Act as a notary public to record contracts, agreements, acts and facts of a commercial nature, except in the case of real estate; as well as in the issuance of obligations and other securities; in mortgages on ships, vessels and aircraft that are entered into before him, and in the granting of refactional or authorization credits or aircraft, in accordance with the law of the matter;

VI.- Act as notaries in the constitution, modification, merger, division, dissolution, liquidation and extinction of commercial companies and in the other acts provided for in the general law of commercial companies;
